“This was a very special trip for my wife and I. We’ve traveled throughout Alaska before but this really surpassed expectation. The fishing, natural beauty and freedom here is unreal.“

FAQ

  • Anglers can target King and Sockeye salmon, trophy Alaskan Rainbow Trout, Arctic Grayling, Northern Pike, and Calico (Dog) Salmon—all in a remote, uncrowded Alaskan wilderness known for nonstop action and trophy-class fish.

  • Rods and tackle are provided by camp. You just need to bring your own waders and clothes.

Guests are welcome to bring personal rods and tackle.

  • Fish with experienced guides who know the river and where the fish hold. Each day of the week is set up so you spend full days on the water, learning from your guide at your own pace, with plenty of time to explore different spots and techniques.

  • Getting to camp is part of the adventure. Once you arrive in Anchorage, a hotel room will be booked for you to spend a night, you’ll then take a smaller bush plane out to Lake Iliamna before reaching the fishing camp.

These flights give you a real sense of the remoteness and beauty of the area—flying over mountains, rivers, lakes, and forests on your way to one of the most remote fishing destinations in Alaska.

  • Your guide will prepare a fresh shore lunch right by the water, starting with a fire and cooking fish you’ve caught that morning.

It offers a simple and satisfying chance to enjoy the surroundings and good conversation before heading back out.

  • After a day on the water, dinner at camp is something to look forward to. A camp chef prepares hearty dinner for everyone, so you don’t have to worry about cooking after fishing all day. It’s a chance to relax with good food, share stories from the day, and enjoy the comfort of the camp environment.
